Hi and welcome
It is a tremendous honour to be Captain of Gosforth Golf Club for 2011/12; I look forward to the year ahead with great expectation as Gosforth Golf Club continues to go from strength to strength.
As a friendly and a welcoming Club, I am certain that whether you are a visitor, guest or member you will enjoy both the test of golf and fine hospitality that awaits you.
As winter comes to a close and the new season is just around the corner, our course is looking good and as praise goes to our greens committee and greens staff for their continued flawless commitment.
Our Clubhouse emanates a very warm and friendly atmosphere with views overlooking the 18th fairway and green and is available for hire for that special function.
My preferred charity for this coming year is Aged Concern (Newcastle) ,
Age Concern UK has done more for the older generation of the UK than any other charity for the elderly, not only on the practical front but also campaigning for better rights, better financial support and above all greater recognition in the work place. The Age Concern organisation website is full of useful information advice about donating to Age Concern and an array of sites and organisations dotted around the country. In order to support this cause I would appreciate it if you could make a small donation by way of the link below.
